I think it's a very slippery slope, and seems to do more after effect harm, while doing seemingly good things initially. Ramifications and potential risks seem to be really high though. What do I know though lol

Part of it depends on how dependant people become on it and what it is used for. If it is depended on for a long time and then a bug is found in it where all the previous decisions made by it were found to be flawed, then depending on it can be quite harmful. I heard one story about some form of AI being used to determine if prisoners are eligible for parole or something like that that but then later on, it was found to be making it's decisions in a flawed way.
