Which occupation can I choose if I know C++?

Does C++ programming language exist just for learning how to code or it can also be a useful tool for a programmer? Which type of specialists use C++ in their work? Should I improve my C++ skills or it’s better to choose another programming language like Python?

Jan Markus I believe real reason for choosing python over other languages is you dont have to worry about the datatypes, pointers and blah blah blah. You can just concentrate on the logic.Thats the reason though python is used in machine learning. But when it comes to speed,Nothing can beat the speed of C/C++.C/C++ is considered to be more nearer to machine language than python/java.

Sebastian, yeap, I started learning programming languages with Python too. But when I’ve gone over from Py to C++, I could learn a lot about what inside the computer, like what is memory and how it works.

I am currently learning C ++ after Python. The use of pointers can be very confusing. I've got the feeling, that the dynamic allocation was usefull in times of restricted memory. But do I need this on a modern PC with a RAM a thousand times bigger than my first HDD?
