They are almost the same. In C++ and Java, you need to compulsorily enclose them in double quotes. I'm new to python. Java is more simplified than C and C++. In c++, to get a character at an integer, you need to use the at (); function in std. But in Java you can use charAt ();. Better refer to other websites to understand well.
