What to do when you want to learn how to make android apps

Any advice how to start making android apps? I've been watching some youtube tutorials, but it wasn't enough for me.

Checkout The New Bostern, also look to learn Java and XNL you can also look at the Google supported udacity cource as Hussain Java I'd suggests.
