competitive programming is optimized programming, you get an execution time and memory limit, your code has to solve a problem really fast and using minimum resources. it is really cool, i suggest you go to codefights.com and hackerrank.com if you want to give it a try.

@edmundo ya codefight is also cool i also used to visit techgig , hackerrank , etc but without knowing the diffrence in competitive nd ordinary programs😂😂
