[DUPLICATE] ATTENTION EVERYONE
hey guys, the valuable members of sololearn are leaving just because of some petty (COPY-PASTE) programmers...... so lets join our hands to see that the real code is upvoted and the duplicates are downvoted... https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/381959/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/381788/?ref=app a majority of us should report these codes to sololearn.. i think many reports on a single code will compel sololearn to remove it

@Manual... maybe by providing the actual date of code published instead of(or alongside) last modified... Just saying.. :/

@Manual... with original date of publish we can see whose code was the first one in case we have two codes which are exactly the same.
And for making some minor changes in the code and publishing them as their own.. Yes there isn't a way to tackle it.. Its going to be hard for mods and devs.

@seamiki..
Yeah but that takes too much of a time to browse...Im saying it being visible in your code info section (if Solo learn makes one) wherein your Date of publish, lines of code and other details etc etc can be combined together.

When you get a copied code just post it

Sifting through the sites and apps many codes to find an original.
Is not an easy feat.

@Frost date of published code is in the profile activity log.

@Chirag
How do you track the original owner of a code.

@Frost
Probably, I do not see lasting solution to it.
Even if the original proved by a published date.
It is still easy to create copies and publish them ones own code.

@Seamiki
The activity log can take an extended amount of time to go throught, depending on the user.
The code could be buried under hundreds of things within that log.

copy-paste programmers always will exist and you can't do anython with it.
I don't even think you should.
Here was comment in one of your topic posts.
If you don 't want your code to be copied -just make it private.
