If you need to create simple home automation with arduino: C; If you need to get a help with Ms office tasks: VBA; If you want to work in a bank, maybe Cobol; and the list is immense, the best language is with your more familiar with and at the same time the one you can use as a great tool to deal with a problem you want to solve
