I want to become a Gray hat ethical hacker...so which language is helpful ?

I just started learning basic of hacking....
but I want to become a professional hacker.
so please give me the right direction...... :-)

It depends on the applications you'll be working with... In general, you'll need to know serverside languages like PHP, Ruby, and Python, and possibly low-level languages like C, and even assembly code.
Although knowing the languages themselves won't do you any good alone. You'll need to understand how they're applied to build software, and how it may be working behind the scenes. You'll also need thorough knowledge of the structure of physical hardware and networks, as well as encryption, verification, and various security measures.
If you're legitimately interested in hacking (aka internet security), I'd suggest you learn about program, system, and website development and testing. White-hats assist in the process by testing (and creatively trying to break) programs in progress, and suggesting improvements. So basically, they're glorified debugging crew.

The best way to learn hacking is by learning how security works. And for everything you need to start at the beginning. That means first you have to learn SQL injection then Brute force attack then Web Crawling then Cryptology etc.

Before hacking something serious you should try your skills in a demo project first. And don't hack any of my accounts please!!!
