I was a Java developer before but now I Switch to C#. Though it is developed by Microsoft, the language design is better than Java. I prefer you to learn C#

They both have a similar syntax, but C# provides many more possibilities such as ref, out, and pointers as well as operator overloading

however c# is primarily a windows language while java can easily be used on any operating system with a JVM(which most do) installed
