Hi vadlamundi,
after setting <svg> tag, you could control the output shape like what you imagine and beyond just a circle or triangle; In a way that it's like you drawing it with your handwriting steps. for example for drawing a rectangle, you could use path commands to go from 0 point to 100 and come down and do it vice-versa.
