html is a markup language you can use to make basics of webpages
but this is not enough &you must learn java script to control behavior also css or bootstrap(a liberary of css)
to make a eye catching view.
to code simple html no software is required except a simple text editor like notepad (if you are windows user)
then we save our code with .html or .htm doctype.
if you you want to be a web developer no doubt you have to learn html.
