where and how do we run c++?

I know thats such a stupid question but yeah im not very smart either. SO, like how do you run the programming language like with what app? Or where, like maybe notepad..?

U can use any text editor(note pad) to write the code and run it in command prompt
Or use dev cpp,
Visual studio ,
Code blocks etc
