Informatica is business intelligence leader since 20 years now. 
The combined revenue of Abinitio, datastage, ssis and other ETL tools is not more than Informatica.

Informatica works without any issues with huge data sets..huge I mean HUGE.

Moreover big data is just very new, and most people know it's just a bubble. Moreover ppl have so much saturated big data that now companies are very selective in searching for candidates. I am not against big data, but it's very saturated now in just 5-6 years.
Those who did it earlier are very happy now it's not the same.

Informatica have released the latest version called Informatica big data editiin which allows graphical representation of dig data.

P.S: I am not for and against any technology. Everything is good if you but proper efforts.
