They have lots of differences, and I propably don't know all of them, as I am bad at the both, but at least I know C is a really low-level language (and pretty old too, compared with many languages). It hasn't even classes or the post- and pre-increment. Python is nearly the opposite: it has (propably, I'm bad at it, so I'm not sure) classes, pre- and post-increment and much more, as more built-in functions than C has. It's not the newest possible language (but at least it isn't old), but as I have understood, it is one of the first high-level languages. It doesn't even use curly brackets. So, I hope I gave you a good answer.
