[OFF-TOPIC]-ish If you are bad at challenges can your level go down

If you are constantly losing challenges and xp (like me) do you have to worry about your level going down? Like I am almost to level 11, and if I get to level 11 and then lose a lot of xp, could I go back to level 10?
