Just be patient and learn to think logically. Programming is a skill, and like all others, has to be learned. Pretend programming is like making a kitchen recipe; even the little details, like how much of an ingredient must you have or how long must you do something, have to be stated in order for the dish to be good. Looking at code or writing one definitely looks mind-boggling sometimes, but here's a tip. Divide the code into small steps. Start with the intricate details and build up towards the big picture. That way, you would much better understand how the program works from the ground up.
