Can I learn java using this app only

Absolutely no way, this app does have the basic theory and exercises provided but no way you will learn the majority of java using this app. I recommend reading books, check out codingbat website for exercises and get involved in the programming communities. this will improve your technical skills. Finally study, practise and PERSISTENCE!!. HAPPY CODING!!
