[OFF-TOPIC] How effective is a 1 day/1 week coding boot camp?

I mainly learn coding from SoloLearn, Stack Overflow, e-books and online tutorials. But I have heard of 1 day/1 week coding boot camps and seminars. I found mixed info when I googled about them. So, what are the benefits of such camps and seminars? Are there any downsides? Thanks in advance.
