[OFF-TOPIC] Did you notice what I noticed?
Why when we or any of us start using SoloLearn we always have someone to follow like one below here? https://www.sololearn.com/Profile/1/?ref=app He is not even a moderator. No offence. Just wondering.

The SoloLearn account is the first ever user created by a member of the company. By default each account created follows it. If it bothers you, feel free to remove it.

You should always follow people to see what they are up to.What they are doing, their new codes, their updated codes and the like, also following new ones can also encourage them to work hard for more followers, because they want to have as many followers than any.As for me I don't even know how many peoples am following they are more than five hundres I think.

There's a 9M next to the account (9 million followers; who knows how many unfollow).

programmers and developers are by nature seriously introvert.
So its natural to hate attention or getting overly noticeable. But the social media change the whole game with internet. People begin to like to know what others are doing.
Just get used to it, or go offline.

There was a time when "following" someone's every move was stalking. Now people want to be followed. As if they're celebrities.
Kartini Social media came long long _after_ the internet.
Home internet, email, and IRC gave birth to what we call social media today. I suppose IRC may be a grey area, though.

IRC is mere chatting, theres no way to follow someone. You just have to be online to participate.
And once upon a time, chatters actually stay online 24hours to stalk their fav.

Yeah, but it was a precursor to Social Media. No wagons, no cars, no planes, no space craft. I said it's grey because it may have been a trivial factor in comparison to email (which almost all internet-connect people used). They all played a role, though.
