How to be more active on the app?

I have spent a significant amount of time on social media in past and I was on every corner there is to be in where content was being shared to be enjoyed by the masses and its just a little hard to keep my concentration here. It gets boring because it's still just the second day and I don't wanna quit. I like interacting but I just feel a little less social here with people different than I'm used to.

Simply follow the people you like or you think you can learn from. If you're more active in Q&A discussions you will find great people here, with a good sense of humour. I didn't miss anything on the social side here yet ^^

Just participate in Q&A Discussion.. Challenge other people.. Like the codes for other people (that may increase the number of upvotes you get in your codes) Comment in other codes.. Try to get on well all members here.. Here we are all friendly and we are here to learn,help,ask,answer,challenge,etc.. Good luck bro :D ā™„ā˜»

This app isn't meant to be a social app. It's whole purpose is teaching programming. If you want social, you can join us in Discord. https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/689391

I would suggest using the search option in the code playground around what interest you as a person. See what other talented users have done with their time using this application. If you happen to find something you like and want to see more from that user, don't hesitate to give them a follow. perhaps even start a conversation with the person to give them some suggestions or ideas for another works. You could always go to the learning section and educate yourself into creating applications and works of your own. I've also seen people work together to make amazing things. I have only been here for like three months and I have to say, I have learned and met a lot of new and interesting people everyday. I do have a bit of a background with coding in the past before joining but I don't regret for one moment the decision I made to join this community. I know at first you are feeling shy and intimidated perhaps even scared but I assure you everybody here is accepting you for who you are. Like Baraa AB said, we are all friendly around here. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. But there is something you need to understand, this isn't really much as a social media application; it is more upon the lines of a social learning and educational application. However, you can join the social media side from Discord...discord.gg/MEjFNcC and before I forget, welcome to SoloLearn.
