Python or Java? - What do you prefer? C or C++? - Which one should I learn?
Hi guys, I recently got two e-mails from my Quora digest subscription - one on preference between Python and Java and one on which language to learn between C and C++. Could you guys let me in on what you think about both the questions by answering them and stating your reasons, maybe? Maybe even go an extra mile to commenting on their difficulty levels from the most difficult to the least difficult? Your replies and/ or comments will be highly appreciated.

One thing I recognised when I learned some languages on Sololearn was, that most languages are very easy to learn if you learned at least one of them because they are very similar in syntax: C, C++, C# and Java. Python seems for me even harder to learn if you started with one of those languages. The difficulty of those four is quite the same, but C is certainly least to learn because it has no objects. And keep in mind that only C and C++ can access the memory with pointers etc. which is sometimes super useful and efficient, but can be frustrating and more difficult to handle. Otherwise the difference between those languages is just of minor size like some smaller features, but you wont see something completely new.

Python is modern and easy to learn programming language. Java is little differently (syntax) but it's easy one. Java same C++... C++ more powerful...

For some reason I love C, C++ and Java, but not python. However, I think that's probably just personal preference. You might as well pick any at random, and see how you like it, compared to the others later on.
It's like sport. It's impossible for anyone to know which one you'll like! You just need to try them to find out.
If you had a specific goal in mind, there might be a first choice.
