In JavaScript arrays are container of same or different data types..

If you want to declare 4 variable..Without array...

Then you will have to declare like..
var a = 1;
var b = 2;
var c = 3;
var d = 4;

But if you use Array then

var yourArray = [1, 2, 3, 4];

which saves time and less code....
