focus on fundamentals if you don't understand them don't pass it go back and read as much as possible it's helpful when you want to learn new things in future

Programming is a long journey but learning the fundamental concepts of say variable declaration, strings and keywords, etc will help you in the long run. From there you can apply such concepts to all languages with slight changes to semantics and syntax. Bravo on your journey

Code.org is helpful for beginners. They teach it at 4th grade. But DON'T ONLY use blockly.
