Find some things to do in your spare time with the languages you know. If you can't figure out anything, look at other people's code for inspiration. You could also try googling ideas for the language you want to use. For instance:

By working on projects, you'll encounter problems. Problems will allow you to learn which, in turn, will improve your knowledge of the language.
