If it's your first language, probably python as it is easier to understand. I did C/C++ as my first language (took my first three programming fundamentals classes over it) and did fairly well. Learning on your own can be more difficult, though, so it may be a better idea to learn Python first.

first things that you should think about it is that what do you wanna do in the future ??? I mean that both python and c++ are good but they are best in some cases for example if you are going to make a 3dGames you have to learn c++ or maybe Android programming but if you want to create scripts easily or make web scripts or work data's .... it's better to study python (((PYTHON IS NOT EASIER THAN C++ OR.... THEY SAY THAT BECAUSE PYTOH BASICS ARE EASIER THAN C++ BUT IF YOU WANT TO BE A PROFESSIONAL AT PYYHON ITS SO HARD)))
