Scrollspy & Affix Example

The Scrollspy

The Scrollspy plugin is used to automatically update links in a navigation list based on scroll position.

Try to scroll this section and look at the navigation bar while scrolling!

Works peffectly on the mobile version of the Code Playground.

Unfortunatelly, it doesn't work on the PC version of the Code Playground. I know, it sucks :(

But don't worry! Just copy the code and try to run it from your favorite browser, for example Internet Explorer.

Just kidding, IE doesn't support this kind of stuff. Run it from Google Chrome and you'll see the magic!

The Affix

The Affix plugin allows an element to become affixed (locked) to an area on the page. This is often used with navigation menus or social icon buttons, to make them "stick" at a specific area while scrolling up and down the page.

With Affix, when we scroll up and down the page, the menu is always visible and locked in its position.
