Are you new in SoloLearn? You're in the right place!
I'll talk about ideas, tips about how to start at the best your SoloLearn journey.

First,

remember that the reason why do you joined SoloLearn, most probably, is for learning to code or just because of your passion to code.
If you joined SoloLearn just for followers or other, might and probably this is not the right app or place.
Remember: focus on what you love 😃✌🏻

Learn section,

Are you interested in learning a new programming language?
Just go in the learning section, decide your language, and start learning.
Enjoy the learning 🙂✌🏻

Wich language should I learn first?

It depends of what you're trying to do and to achieve.
Web development:

Start with HTML(for the website structure), and then continue with CSS (for the style), JavaScript (functionality), PHP and SQL (for backend) and optional: Jquery (a JavaScript library, I suggest you it if you work a lot with DOM manipulation).
General application development:

Python (it has an easy syntax, many suggest this language), C++ or Ruby (all these are for general purposes, used in many fields); C# (mostly used for the desktop applications), Java or Kotlin (mostly used for Android app development) or Swift (mostly used for iOS app development).

Community section,

the community section is divided in 2 Sub-elements: feed and practice section.
Feed:

The feed section is the "home page", where you can see the activities of your followers and whom you're following.
Practice:

You can practice with lessons, code coach and challenges.

Code coach

The code coach's are probles to solve with your code program.
Every solved code coach give you some xp too:
Easy -> 10xp, Medium -> 50xp, Hard -> 100xp.
*you'll learn later what xp are.

Challenges

Just wanna have fun and challenge your friends?
With challenges you'll earn xp and you'll learn something new. This is one of the best methods to earn xp and to level up. XP in challenges:

The XPs you gain/lose are unique to each match. Calculations take the opponents' level into account. It's used the 'Elo' rating system. Challenge storm?! Write here.
Note: a challenge storm == 15 challenges, after 15 challenge there's a limit. 🌪😁

Levels and XP

What is XP?

XP stands for eXperience Points. You earn XP by partecipating in activities & improving your skills. These activities include completing a lesson/course, playing challenges, unlocking badges, and so on.
Levels:

The levels goes from 0 to 20 (until now 😁). To level up you need a specific number of XP. The XP table for levels.
There are four badges: Bronze, Silver, Gold and the ultimate Platinum.

Note: there's UNTIL now only one user who is at level 21, SoloLearn 😄🏳️

Codes

For practice, you can use the integrated IDE of SoloLearn. It supports the most popular languages.
There's the possibility to comment and to upvote codes too, and this influence the 'Hot Today'.
