        I looked at chromium source and found 
these informations after a long search 😁..
hope you would find it interesting ..

this is where our bgColor attribute is being set .

there i found that its calling a function 
 ```addHTMLColorToStyle``` in that last param we are passing a string value recieved from our html attribute bgColor directly...

again after a long hunt i finally found that function definition ( line 1009 ):

here i found this weird line  
``` parsedColor.setRGB(parseColorStringWithCrazyLegacyRules(colorString))```

its what parsing our color


so again i went through searching on interet and after 5-10mins of search i found its defination too

its in line 18 - 22 that what values from 128 chars are taken for color values as we can see non hex values are replaced with 0



in line 24 it says that length of digit buffer is 0 so we get a black color .. lets verify by giving bgColor="#" which should cause empty string to be passed in the parser function and hence we must see a black screen..

yes 😳taht worked


line 28,29 adds 00 at last of every hex..
and so line 31 deals with #rgb format we can clearly understand.

and also line 38 to 64 deals with #rrggbb values which is where we our custom strings goes ..
the databuffer is divided into 3 chunks and the leading 0s are just ignored ..

remaining part is processed as hex values and a rgba color is obtained from it..

notice thay we choose only 8 chars .. (line 40 )
