What is Back to School Campaign?

The ‘Back to School’ Streak campaign is a 15-day learning streak challenge from SoloLearn. We are challenging our learners to make learning how to code a habit. To participate, you need to complete one lesson per day of any course that you choose on Sololearn.

What do I get if I complete the streak?

Participants receive a profile badge, custom certificate, and a 30-day trial to SoloLearn PRO upon completion of the streak. Learners will also enter a chance to win one of the three special prizes — An Apple Watch, Airpods PRO, or one-year free of SoloLearn PRO.

How can I join the streak?

To participate, everyone must install the app from App Store or Google Play and signup for SoloLearn. Once you have signed up, choose your course and start the streak!

Who is eligible to win one of the prizes?

For eligibility, please see the legal terms and conditions.

What are the prizes?

Three learners who successfully complete the streak will be randomly selected to win an Apple Watch, AirPods Pro, or one year subscription to SoloLearn PRO.

If I do not live in the United States and I win one of the prizes, does SoloLearn pay for custom duties?

Yes

Can I join the streak and participate through SoloLearn’s website?

No. You can only complete the streak via the SoloLearn app.

What if I miss a lesson?

If you miss a day, you can rejoin the streak, provided that there is enough time for you to complete the streak in 15 days.
you do not complete the streak, you will not receive any of the awards, and you will not be entered to win a prize.

When is the start and end date of the streak?

Start Date - Thursday, August 20, 2020
End Date - Thursday, October 1, 2020

When is the deadline for joining the streak?

To complete 15 days of code learning streak, you must start your streak by completing your first lesson by Thursday, September 17, 2020.

When the winners will be announced?

October 2, 2020.

You only need to join the streak once and then you will be entered into the streak.
you miss a day, you can restart your streak the next time you open the SoloLearn app simply by completing a lesson. You do not need to sign up again. If you restart your streak after September 17, you will not be able to complete the streak before the challenge ends on October 1, which is the last possible day to do a lesson and complete your streak.

How much time will it take to complete a lesson?

It takes the average learner about 5 to 7 minutes to complete a lesson.

Can I complete more than one lesson each day?

Yes, you can. You only need to complete one lesson. If you complete more than one lesson in one day, it does not count for the next day.

Will I get a SoloLearn PRO upon joining the streak?

No. However, you will be able to sign up for a 30-day free trial if you successfully complete a 15-day streak.

What if I am already a SoloLearn PRO member? Can I streak?

If you already subscribe to SoloLearn PRO, you can still streak!
However, you will not receive a free trial to SoloLearn PRO upon completing the streak. You will receive a badge, a certificate, and you will be entered to win the prizes.

Do I need to enter my credit card details to get SoloLearn PRO for free?

SoloLearn requires you to activate your 30-day trial via the App Store or Google Play. Like other apps, we manage our payment process through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. However, we will not automatically renew your subscription after the streak ends.

What if I want to join the streak, but I don’t have any credit card to get PRO?

You can still get SoloLearn PRO if you have another payment method attached to your App Store or Google Play account. We manage both PRO subscription trials and payments through Apple and Google.

Will I get a certificate if I don’t complete the streak?

No. You need to complete the streak for to receive a certificate

Will I be able to track my progress?

For every day that you successfully complete a lesson, you will see a banner in the app that shows your progress.

EXTRA FAQs

If I join it fresh and complete a lesson, does it count?

Yes, you can.

Do I need to specify that I have choosen this language and this is lessson for BTS?

No, Sololearn will automatically detect the course once you start learning. If it detects a wrong course, you can rejoin BTS Streak and start learning the correct course.

Do I need to choose new language for BTS or can continue on half learned question?

You can also continue with an old lesson since the main motive of this streak is to be active in learning at least a lesson of a particular language a day for 15 days.
