My Advice

In order to use your own photos in your codes you need to upload them on the Internet.

Sololearn does't provide you any storage space so you have to upload your images elsewhere.

It's up to you where to store your files. Keep in mind that your results may vary depending on your choice. So remember to check your links first.

If you are using Google Drive (Photos) your shared links will NOT display the images.

Those links will take your browser to Google Drive (Photos) webpages.

They are NOT meant to be used in <img> tags!

Another annoyance about those links is that they are dynamic links. Dynamic links are temporary, meaning they only work for some period of time. When they expire your images will be unavailable and your code output will look broken. So be careful.

Remember, this is just a general advice not strict rule, hence it can be applied to various cases and hostings. I think it should help you better. So go ahead and follow these simple instructions below.

Step by Step Instructions

Upload your picture.
Get the link to your image.
Paste it into the address bar in your web browser and make sure you can view it there.
It's perfect if you can download the image.
Paste the link into your code.
Check your code a few days later.
Fix the bugs if you find them in your code.
