The printTime() Function

The printTime function uses a native code to get the time,the day,month,year or hours,minutes and seconds.

The main tool is the new Date() with its related objects.

Ok. There are many ways to get the date. Here, is a simple way using a javascript function called "printTime()" and its method.Look!

PART A: Setting the function to use

var hours= d.getHours();
var mins = d.getMinutes();
var secs = d.getSeconds();
-->let add "0" before h,m and s when they are < 10:
if(hours <10){hours ="0"+hours}
if(mins <10){mins ="0"+mins}
if(secs <10){secs ="0"+secs}
And :
-->clock getting :displaying the clock in my paragraph tag which id = diy

Now we get the clock...
NB: You must write all above in a block .Don't write "var diy =document.getElement...." (dom element) in html body separately from the rest of the code because that doesn't work (You can try,it!) ..BUT LOOK BELOW:

this last } closes the printTime() function.
-->without the setInterval function ,no way to run the time: clock and date.

It is very important to notice that there are many paths to get the current time. Here js is the language used. It is possible to have similar result with other languages: PHP, PYTHON, etc.
You can have the date in this format also:
Thursday,17th May 2018 with various structures like May,17th 2018,....etc .
