HTML Color

Tv's and computer screens display colors by combining Red, Green, and blue.

Color Names

With CSS colors can be set by using color names:
CSS supports 140 standard color names.

RGB (Red, Green, Blue)

Background-color set by using rgb(255,0,0)

Background-color set by using orange

Background-color set by using yellow

Background-color set by using blue

RGB (Red, Green, Blue)

by numbers (255,162,0)

With HTML RGB color values can be specified using yhis formula: rgb(red, green, blue) Each paarameter (red, green, blue) defines the intensity of the color between 0 and 255. For example, rgb(255,0,0) is dislayed as red, because red is set to it's higest value (255) and the others are set to 0.
