About Me

Hi! My name is Jianmin Chen. I'm a programming enthusiast who eventually wants to pursue a career in programming. I enjoy programming alot because it allows me to be creative, but analytical about what I'm doing at the same time. Besides programming, I still attend school, and I'm learning to play the guitar as well as chess.

Find The Buried Treasure	This program allows you to find buried treasure by clicking on a map!
Hangman	Just another one-player version of Hangman!
Punnett Square Calculator	This program can calculate Punnett Squares for you! If you're not sure what a Punnett Square is, you can check out the explanation in the program.
Weather Forecast	This is just a little weather forecast app I made with OpenWeatherAPI.
Flashcard Creator v0.1	I tried out AngularJS with this flashcard creator. It allows you to create a flashcard, and save it as an image using HTML2Canvas!
Is It English?	This is a simple Python program I created to detect if text is English. It's not 100% accurate yet.
Wikipedia Searcher: My First Web Scraper	This is my first Python web scraper. You can type in a search term, and if it's on Wikipedia, information about it will be printed to the console.
