To operate the fan:

If you turn the fan ON, without setting speed, you are on a normal speed. To turn the fan 'ON', press "ON" button. To turn the fan OFF, press the "OFF" button.

To change speed of the fan, press on the number you want; speed is 1 as the slowest, and 3 as the fastest.
Note: 3 is faster than norma("ON").

The fan comes pre installed at a nomral speed. So it's ready to go. The fan has four different speeds.

On = normal speed

3 = sastest

2 = medium

1 = slowest

I know you can't see the lines that go over the blades. but they are almost invisible glasses. if you get too close to the blades, the fan will slow down depending on how close you are. If you are 5 inches close to it, it will stop completely. it's all for your safety.
