So here it is. My old laptop.

Sony VAIO, 32 bits, 2,00 GB RAM, Intel(R)Core(tm)2 Duo CPU, T7250 2,00GHz
(VGN-NR11Z) from 2007

In the Android x86 project, there are no system requirements. They use reference systems to define the minimum requirements. Android-x86 (look at Tested Platforms)
It seems that the Asus Eee pc comes closests to the Sony VAIO, so I am going to use this one

Unfortunately they did not specify which Asus laptop was used. So I took the oldest one.

Asus Eee PC 701, 512 MB RAM, 32 bits, intel® celeron m 353 from 2007

The Sony VAIO seems to be the better laptop, which is good. You do not want the reference to be better laptop
