The Werewolf Diaries

Prologue:

Robert Bulls is sitting in his living room watching TV. The news person says, “A recent study has shown that around 75 percent of the world’s population owns at least one pet wolf.“
Robert changes the channel. The new news person says,
“Our top story tonight, 9 countries across the world have, in the last hour, launched one nuclear missile each. Countries launching include: USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Italy, North Korea, China, and Japan”

The wolves had a special virus that was not strong enough to affect humans. But, the nuclear radiation weakened human's immune systems And combined the human's and wolves DNA.

A few years later, Robert is quietly walking through a thickly wooded area holding a pump shotgun, (extremely powerful with eight shots before you have to reload. It could take down a grizzly bear with one shot) when all of a sudden, a creature jumps out from behind a huge boulder about the size of a car, 50 feet in front of Robert. Robert raises his shotgun to point the barrel right at the face of the creature which is, In fact, a werewolf. The werewolf’s body looks almost completely like a human’s except that it is covered in wolf– like fur and has the face of a wolf. Robert says,
“Go away or I’ll blow your freakin’ head off, ugly monster.”
The werewolf smiles, showing its razor-sharp teeth.
“Actually, I think you should run before my friends and I eat you alive”,
the werewolf snarls. As the werewolf says this, four other werewolves calmly step out from behind boulders and trees, surrounding Robert. Robert says, gesturing the shotgun,
“Have any of you ever seen one of these? Or more importantly, what it could do to you all? This is fully loaded meaning eight shots, One for each of you with three left over.”
One of the other werewolves growls sarcastically,
"Oh, we’re soooo scared.”
All five werewolves take a few steps towards Robert. He says,
“OK then, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
He then throws the shotgun hard into the first werewolf’s face, knocking him Backward a few steps, giving Robert just enough time to run and jump over the first werewolf’s head, not accidentally kicking his face during the jump. The 5 werewolves chase Robert for about half an hour, then Robert ducks under a fallen tree and the werewolves run past him, not seeing him under the tree. Once Robert is satisfied that the werewolves are far enough away that their super-hearing will not pick any quiet sounds he makes, he sighs and whispers,
"Darn, I thought they would fall for that whole shotgun bluff" ...
