Hey everyone this app made me decide to go back to college for computer science..

And I am a little disappointed that I am only taking math classes and not actually learning how to program. Is there something that I am missing or is there more to it than just memorizing phrases?

Computer science is much more than just coding. it is about understanding how computers work, how they interface with the world and how humans best interact with it, and using that knowledge to solve real world problems that people have.

Most who are good coders here are also good in Math, the challenges are mostly Math related too. Programming is more than just syntax recognition, it requires strong logic, people with good Math usually absorb logic better. Hope I got your question correctly :)
