Hi, What is Kotlin Language? and I heard that it can takes java position in android programming. is it true?

Its now announced that kotlin is the official language to make android stuff. That does not mean java is outdated..... Its so that kotlin can use java's libraries and can be easily converted to java(and vice-versa)
