How and where can we save the data that a user enters in our web page?

if I use variables they will be gone once we reload the page. so if someone enters data I want it to be stored somewhere and be displayed when someone opens the page. and once we store it somewhere how can I retrieve it every time the page loads

To save user input data you have to use any type of database (SQL/NoSQL).
