Which one should I learn?

I want to learn how to code and there are several coding programs. I'm learning python for now but which one should I learn if I'm targeting coding as my future job?

There are many types of programmers, doing many types of things. It's not a "one-size fits all" type of thing. So the question then is, what type of programmer do you want to be? You could be a desktop applications developer, systems engineer, security, web dev, mobile app dev, game developer, etc.. etc... Once you have an idea what you want to do, then you'll be in a better place to answer what you should be working on. Personally, I focus in my current moments on whatever is going to compliment my goals, and I can always learn other stuff in my free time for fun. Considering you started with Python, I don't think websites is your primary focus. I would recommend learning C#, Java, and C++, along with SQL so you know how to deal with databases properly. They're all power languages with amazing, and similar, syntax. Personally, I hate Python and find its syntax to be borderline something I'm not allowed to say here because I told Kuba I would be good. :) With that being said, Python is a powerful language also, and my hate for it has nothing to do with functionality, simply horrid syntax. If you post more specific information on what you're wanting to do, I can post some more specific advice. Best of luck to you! Keep it up, stay patient, and it'll all pay off in the long run.
