You should probably start with Python, as it is simple, but also powerful. It also has a large community of people who are really friendly and helpful. Python can be used for a LOT of stuff, ranging from simple programs that make you life easier, to complex robotics, which is why I think Python is the best, especially for beginners.

If you want to learn web design, start with HTML. It is an easy introduction to coding.

If you want to learn programming, go with Python. It is super easy compared to other languages, and is just enough to teach a beginner the basic concepts, without being overwhelming.
