How do I create a new cpp file using cc++

Question

Hello folks,

Anyone has any idea how can I create a new cpp file using cc++ ?
Right now I have main.cpp and I want to add another file,a subcategory to proced this file.

which ide are you using? should be a simple matter of creating a new text file in the same directory as your main.cpp and naming the new file with a .h or .cpp extension.

code::Blocks 16.01.tried that but I am not allowed to do it.any other suggestion how to add?
