Two engines give you relatively easy and ready-made solutions: Unity (C#/JS) and Unreal (C++). But you can make games with other languages, too. Java or even Python. I tried the last one with its pyglet module (doing 3D with OpenGL). Take a look if that is what you'd want :) https://www.instagram.com/p/BQ-8ubDDTNi/

Hello Forge Ice, a lot of developers use Unity to create their own games. You should learn C# to use it.

Hello Forge Ice, If you are not confortable with C++ then try to develop Android games. You should learn Java to create your own Android games.

as u said u r new to programming i would just like to tell you that u can program a game in any language people might suggest u different lang and thats bcauze some engines support them. you can make a game without any engine but that would be difficult also u can make ur own engine as well. but as u r a begginer dont rush through everything learn any one of the language and its concept, more or less different lang r similar only syntax and some concepts r different. so learn any lang which u want to and then choose one u want to use to make games it is not much difficult to switch between different language. cheers!.
