Code theft

okay, so, I've seen plenty of people that stole one of my codes, what should I do?/is there anything I can do about it?

You can report them. Sololearn staff should remove them for you if you notify them. *With great code comes great copy*

post a comment on their (copied) code with your requests as original author: attribution, making the code private, as you prefere... if they do not comply, send an email to info@sololearn.com or use the feedback functionality from within the mobile app. You can also rely on mods to handle the situation, as Ace suggested.

Where did they steal your code? And what type of code is it? In short, not usually much. If it's an .exe, I can decompile it and read the code that's translated from it. If it's HTML stuff, then browsers let you easily view it. However, server-side stuff is a lot easier to protect. Just depends what you're asking about really.

@Sreejith Subhash: That's like saying Van Gogh had no credit to his Sunflowers since he didn't create his pigments, his colours, his brushes or the sunflowers themselves for that matter. Copyright and right attribution are not a matter of choice.. neither for art nor code.

every thing we do today was once done before so its not your code exactly other than that it must have been derived from some other code made by someone else and you didn't mention his name in your code. in short you stole the code from the creator of c++
