HTML, CSS, JS is something you should learn no matter what language you decide to start with - Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Python. But HTML, CSS are not a programming languages, so you can't learn to code with them. Actually, the language is not the most important thing to learn first. Learn to code, by starting with one of the languages above, and begin to solve a simple problems. Follow a book or other tutorials.

HTML CSS and Javascript is easier. However, out of the two you mentioned I would stick with Java. Also Check out The New Bostern. They have free video tutorials you may find helpful. PS don't worry if things confuse you. Computers are complicated, especially when you are trying to learn a new language some new software tools and a new way of thinking about computers. Just keep on reasurching and learning.
