How to include images,audio,video in our website

I have learnt html5 n css.But when I try in computer system I am not getting results.
example I have images in local disk c. I want to include it.wt should I do please help me out.please..............

if your audio/video/image are in the same directory as your html file, just simply put "myvideo.mp4" or whatever as ur source (works with css or js files and other html pages if you would wanna use them as a link), if its not in the same directory try "file:///C:/..."
