KLS_ASK4: Which is the best OS for beginners?

What operating system did you use at first? Would you recommend a more immersive experience with Linux or recommend the classic Windows? Tell me your experiences as beginners! Thanks for your answer! ;)

i think the best OS would be one that explaines a lot to the user. like most people I started with Windows, but I could never call a computer my own, so I always saw different ones (mostly different themes, but I didn't know that by then) so I never got used to any OS. than My roommate installed on my first PC both Linux and Windows, I loved it, and of course the ability to switch. in school we have some macs and I'm confused again... lol. I want to master Linux, but I wanted to start with a real smal one, and learn everything about it, but this (damn smal linux, arch Linux )is making me crazy, everything has to be installed and if the one you're teaching doesn't like reading or searching for information, I would suggest Windows 7 or Ubunto( make it dualboot, or give him a virtual machine and show him how to install anything there is, from Windows 10 over Mac to Debian). PS: And about kali ... hmm, there are some rumors, but there is nothing more to add, as you know ;)
