That's a very broad and personal question. We can't read your mind. There are tons of uses for python, but again we can't read your mind. We don't know your interests or capabilities are. That being said, only you know what is most suitable for you. We can point you in the right direction, that's all.

The newest version would obviously be your choice then. The only reason older versions are supported is because developers/companies need a long time to apply these new changes or are unable to at a timely manner.
