Is there are free IDEs or alternatives for Ruby?

I know that for majority of programming languages free IDE exists. Eclipse for Java, Thonny for python, Codeblocks for C and C++. Does something similar exist for Ruby? Interactive Ruby does not seem quite comfortable for me. What I am looking for is text editor + interactive console window in one application. Syntax highlight would also be a great feature.

Rubymine and komodo are not free. Redcar alpha seems to be outdated to me as the last release was in 2014. Beside that I was unable to install it in my PC. I tried to install Aptana Studio but without success. It failed to download all required files. Instaling aptana as eclipse plugin was unsuccessfull - it had not find anything on url provided by Aptana website.
