as a young web programmer/developer, what are the things to start with? I'm learning HTML on my own now. I downloaded the PDFs and I've started reading them. although, I'm not new to HTML. please I'm I on the right path? or what is your advice?

Continue with HTML, CSS after you are confident with it start learning JavaScript which will help you make your web projects dynamic then later jump to php or asp whichever you find easy as the collaboration of all these web languages will help you make great websites

I would say your determination is enough..go on practicing with each element with all possible attributes. This will help to clear the basic concepts and after apply your creative coding !!

more research on google and youtube, must many practice, my recommend is try to install notepad++ which more easier
